By downloading, installing, or using Lumina ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The App is operated by Lumecore LLC, a company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States ("we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Lumina is a mobile application that provides Vedic astrology compatibility analysis based on birth data you provide. The App calculates astrological positions and generates compatibility reports using the traditional Ashtakuta matching system.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only
Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

5. AI-Generated Content

Use of Artificial Intelligence

Premium analysis features use the Anthropic Claude API (an artificial intelligence system) to generate compatibility insights.

By using Premium features, you acknowledge and agree that:

Results may vary between analyses even when identical birth data is provided

"As Is" Basis

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Implied warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Accuracy or reliability of any information

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to us through the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim

Prices are subject to change; current prices are always shown before purchase

Refund Policy

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) according to their respective refund policies
To request a refund, contact Apple or Google directly through their standard refund process, or contact us at contact@lumecorellc.com for assistance

EU/EEA consumers: You acknowledge that the digital content is delivered immediately upon purchase. Under EU law, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, unless you have expressly consented to the immediate provision of the digital content and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. By initiating a Premium analysis, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge the loss of your withdrawal right.

Payment Processing

Payments are handled by:

Apple App Store (iOS) — Subject to Apple's Terms
Google Play Store (Android) — Subject to Google's Terms
RevenueCat — For purchase management (see RevenueCat Privacy Policy)

12. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, third-party service outages (including API providers), government actions, or other force majeure events.

If a Premium analysis cannot be completed due to a force majeure event, we will work with you to either complete the analysis when service is restored or facilitate a refund through the applicable app store.

13. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue the App at any time
Change features or functionality
Update these Terms

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for:

Any other reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases. Data stored locally on your device will remain until you delete it.

For EU/EEA consumers: Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

16. Dispute Resolution
